Dilation
At the time of your eye examination, doctor will determine whether
a dilation is
indicated, depending on personal history, family history, age, symptoms, and significant findings. The dilation may last a few hours, but you will be able to drive home; only your close reading vision may be blurred for a few hours.

 Retinal imaging
Optos camera captures clear and accurate images from the macula to the far periphery. Early indications of disease can often be subtle and difficult to see through direct observation or low-resolution fundus imaging. Leveraging Optos camera is an ultra-wide-field retinal camera that captures a high-resolution image down to 7 microns.

Lasik Surgery Evaluation
Consultation/ Co-Management - Part of your initial examination would be to determine whether you are an ideal candidate for LASIK or other refractive surgeries (such as ICL, and intacts). Prescription, astigmatism, bifocal, age, pupil diameter, corneal thickness, and dryness are all factors in determining this. If it is determined that you are ideal, we will refer you to the appropriate surgeon, and be involved in the pre and post-op visits in your continuum of care.

Glaucoma Examiantion
Glaucoma is normally caused by increased intra-ocular pressure; which your doctor will measure at your annual examination. Glaucoma is a potentially blinding condition if it is not diagnosed and treated on time. Initially, it does not have any symptoms till 40-60% of the optic nerve is damaged. Patient's losses the peripheral vision in glaucoma till all they have left is a tunnel vision.

Contact lenses
The latest (3rd generation) disposable contact lenses are our specialty - high oxygen transmission silicone hydrogel contacts. They are available in all modalities – from daily disposable to monthly, and for all prescriptions - including astigmatism and bifocal. Besides high oxygen transmission, these lenses are more comfortable, moister, have more flexible wearing schedules, and are healthier for the eyes.

Myopia Control Evaluation

Contact lenses used to slow or stop myopia progression — typically overnight orthokeratology, and to a lesser extent, special-design soft lenses — can focus light on the back of the eye (the retina) in a way that signals the eye to slow or stop its lengthening process.
